Although the Roach Sailing Association does not provide moorings or boatyard facilities, here is some information about what is available from other providers on the River Roach.

Visitors moorings
Visiting boats are welcome at Paglesham and for a small fee may use vacant swinging moorings downstream of the boatyard pontoon. These moorings are maintained by Roach Mooring Holders Association. For details see RMHA moorings for visitors.
Long term moorings
Roach Mooring Holders Association (RMHA) provide 23 deep water moorings in Paglesham Reach, downstream of the boatyard pontoon, with facilities at Paglesham Boatyard. If you are interested in a mooring please contact RMHA to join the waiting list.
Paglesham Village Trust (PVT) have a small number of drying moorings, adjacent the PVT Oyster Pits, NW of Paglesham Boatyard. Moorings range from the low water mark, to mid-tide dinghy moorings and mud berths. If you are interested in renting a mooring plot, please contact info@roachsailingassociation.org for further information.. Priority is given to Paglesham residents
There are also private swinging moorings in Paglesham Reach, upstream of the boatyard pontoon, contact info@roachsailingassociation.org for further information.
Boatyards
There are three boatyards and other yacht club facilities on the river Roach.
Paglesham Boatyard is a commercial boatbuilding operation and does not cater for yachts, apart from providing a dinghy park and car parking for mooring holders in Paglesham Reach. Mooring holders may use the slip for launching dinghies, but the boatyard pontoon is for industrial use only.
Sutton Wharf at the head of the Roach provides drying pontoon berths, yard storage and travel hoist for vessels up to 150 ft. Many RSA members’ boats are overwintered here.
Wakering Yacht Club has a club house located next to Sutton Wharf, and provides drying pontoon berths and hard standing for its members.
Wakering Boatyard (not to be confused with Wakering YC) is located on a branch of the Roach south of Potton Island. The yard provided hard standing, drying pontoon berths and moorings. Several RSA members keep their boats here.
Contact info@roachsailingassociation.org for more information about any of the above.
